Growing up Asian is hard

     Whenever someone hears the word "Asian", they think it is the "golden race" ("golden race" is something I heard about Asians when I was in high school). They think that an Asian person is good in school, has straight A's, plays the piano, speaks an Asian language, and may have more stereotypical assumptions. However, people only see the "greatness" of the Asian race but don't consider what Asian people have to go through. Asian people even get emotionally, physically, and mentally affected when they have to meet the standards of an average Asian person.       I've said it multiple times on this blog by now but growing up I didn't have good grades. Going to school was always a struggle for me. I had talents in athletics but that wasn't something that Asian parents want or the stereotypical Asian person should do.
